BOWIE, Md.—Glen Nicholson, director of retail education and quality assurance for TBC Retail Group, was elected secretary of the Tire Industry Association's Board of Directors at the board's biannual meeting June 12-14.
Nicholson officially will assume his new office Nov. 4, during the Global Tire Expo-Powered by TIA in Las Vegas.
Under the rules of TIA leadership, Nicholson will progress next year to the vice presidency of TIA. He will become TIA president in 2015, and past president in 2016.
