WASHINGTON—Two Chinese manufacturers have withdrawn their request to the Commerce Department for an administrative review of U.S. antidumping duties of off-the-road tires imported from China.
Shandong Linglong Tyre Co. Ltd. and Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co. Ltd. both asked for reviews of OTR tire tariffs late last year in response to a routine Federal Register notice posted by Commerce's International Trade Administration. On Oct. 31, the ITA formally announced an administrative review of the antidumping duty orders against Shandong Linglong and Hangzhou Zhongce.
On Dec. 10, however, Hangzhou Zhongce withdrew its request for a review, followed by the withdrawal of Shandong Linglong on Jan. 29.
The ITA formally closed the review June 3. In its Federal Register notice, it did not mention the reasons why the companies withdrew their review requests.
