WATERLOO, Belgium—Ergon Europe MEA Inc. said it added six tanks at the Sea Tank Terminal in Antwerp, Belgium to its storage network, increasing storage capacity by more than 30 percent.
The newly leased storage units, which went online Jan. 1, have increased the company's total number of tanks to 16, with a capacity of 151,000 barrels. The new tanks will be used exclusively for Ergon's base, process and insulating oils.
Ergon President Per Klintstam said the new tanks will fulfill demand for the oils in the region. Ergon Europe, based in Waterloo, is a subsidiary of Ergon Refining Inc., a producer of naphthenic specialty oils.
