LONDON—The Rubber in Engineering Group of the Polymer Society is holding a technical discussion seminar coupled with a tour of the Tun Abdul Razak Research Laboratory, in Hertfordshire, England, on June 7.
The event is free, but those wishing to attend must pre-register and be approved for the site visit. The tour showcase TARRC's new biotechnology unit and materials characterization facilities.
The discussion program includes:
• Materials characterization techniques for medical elastomers, Mark Perkins (TARRC);
• Protein allergies from rubber, Alessandra Di Cola (TARRC);
• Formulating clean elastomers for metered dose inhalers, Daljit Ohbi (Bespak); and
• Nitrosamine free solutions for elastomer products, Craige Taylor (Robinson Brothers).
