Goodyear ranked No. 137 in list of companies by sales

AKRON—Goodyear came in at No. 137 in the latest Fortune 500 listing of companies by sales, the highest mark for U.S.-based rubber product manufacturers.

Parker Hannifin at 211, Tenneco holding the 349th spot and Dana Holdings at 356 are other companies with significant rubber product operations the made the annual list from Fortune magazine.

Among suppliers to the rubber industry in the rankings are: Dow Chemical, 52; DuPont, 72; 3M, 101; Illinois Tool Works, 155; PPG Industries, 182; Huntsman, 241; Air Products & Chemicals, 273; Ashland, 321; and Eastman Chemical, 324.
