Neumaticos to distribute Trelleborg tires

MEXICO CITY, Mexico—Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas Inc. has signed Neumaticos Muevetierra of Mexico City as a primary distributor for Trelleborg- and Maximo-brand agricultural and forestry tires in Mexico.

Neumaticos Muevetierra operates 14 wholesale distribution points in Mexico and is specialized in OTR, industrial and agricultural tires, Trelleborg said.

Jeff Jankowski, sales director of Trelleborg agricultural tires for North America, called this development an important step for Trelleborg to increase its worldwide presence in agricultural and forestry tires.

The naming of the Mexican distributor coincides with the launch in Mexico of Trelleborg's new line of Maximo R1 radial tires and its Agro-industrial line TH400.

The new partners exhibited in March at the Expoceres show in the Sinaloa region.
