ROZENBURG, Netherlands—Huntsman Polyurethanes has declared force majeure on methylene diphenyl diisocyanate produced at its Rozenberg, Netherlands plant following problems with two suppliers.
A company official said force majeure was declared April 22 for the polyurethane curative. There is no timetable in place for it to be lifted.
Huntsman said problems at suppliers Akzo Nobel and Shin Etsu led to the declaration.
