MORRISVILLE, Pa.—Gelest Inc. has announced six appointments and promotions in its executive lineup to support and enhance its market growth, the company said.
The supplier of silicone, silane and metal-organic compounds said Greg Hertenberger joined Gelest as product manager-silanes and metal-organics; Matthew Suits as facilities manager; and Sean Nichols as purchasing manager.
Adrien Salomon was promoted to production manager; William Fry to controller; and Greg Vuk to logistics manager.
Hertenberger has more than 30 years of experience in the additives business for coatings and construction products, according to the company. He will be responsible for development of new business for Gelest's functional and non-functional alkyl silane compounds and its greatly expanded range of metal-organic compounds, it said.
Suits, who previously was an engineering and process manager at PB Leiner Gelatins, will manage new construction and maintenance.
Nichols is responsible for procuring raw materials. For the past five years, he was operations manager in the manufacturing division of Haas Group International.
Salomon, formerly a process and development engineer manager at Gelest, is in charge of managing day-to-day activities and staff at the company.
Fry has served as assistant controller at Gelest since 2010, and Vuk started with firm as a packer in 1999.
