CANTON, Ohio—General Motors Co. has recognized DLH Industries Inc. as one of its best global automotive suppliers.
DLH—which uses thermoplastic elastomers and thermoplastic polyurethane for some products—said the distinction was made during the 21stt annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony, held March 13 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit.
DLH, a global supplier of engineered plastic product and air and fluid management assembly, is one of 83 suppliers recognized as exceeding GM's expectations for innovation, quality, crises management and cost effectiveness. It marks the sixth straight time DLH received the award.
According to the company, less than 1 percent of GM's 18.500 suppliers are recognized for the honor. A global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality and manufacturing and logistics officials select the recipients.
