LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany—BASF A.G. said it trying to raise the price in Europe for a product used as a reaction accelerator for rigid polyurethane foams.
The German supplier said it wants to hike the price by 10 cents per kilogam for Lupragen N 100. The chemical—N,N Dimethylcyclohexylamine, is sold under the brand name Lupragen N 100. PU foam in which the chemical is used has application as thermal insulation materials.
BASF produces Lupragen N 100 at a plant in Ludwigshafen.
