DALLAS—Oxea Corp. plans to boost prices in North America for chemicals used in the polyurethane and other industries on April 1 or when contracts allow.
The company said the price for trimethylolpropane and neopentylglycol will rise 10 cents a pound. The cost of 1,3-butylene gycol will increase 6 cents per pound.
The increases are for list and off-list prices, said Oxea, which produces oxo intermediates and derivatives such as polyols, specialty esters and amines.
