BEIJING—China's Commerce Ministry has issued anti-dumping duties on toluene diisocyanate imported from the European Union.
The March 12 announcement said duties now range from 6.6 percent to 37 percent on European exports of TDI, used in the production of polyurethane products.
Among the companies the decision impacts are Bayer Material Science A.G., facing duties of 19.2 percent. Output from Dow Chemical Corp's Tarragona, Spain, plant and all of Perstorp's output will face duties of 37.7 percent, the ministry said.
The announcement concludes an investigation into the product initiated last year.
