OBERHAUSEN, Germany—Oxea Advanced Derivatives said it has begun building an oxo derivatives plant in Nanjing, China.
The company said the facility at the Nanjing Industrial Chemical Park will serve the rapidly growing derivatives market in China and Asia.
Oxo derivatives are used in nearly all sectors of China's economy, including automotive, construction, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and personal care products, the firm said. Oxea's new plant is located at the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park.
Oxea makes oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives, such as alcohols, polyols, carboxylic acids, specialty esters, and amines.
