RAVENNA, Ohio—More than 40 executives of rubber industry companies toured Portage Precision Polymers Inc.'s custom mixing plant in Ravenna Feb. 9, an event held by the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers.
Portage Precision Polymers has been at the site for 10 years, and the building—build in the 1800s—has been a rubber industry operation for 50 years.
ARPM members and guests have toured several rubber industry operations since the group of non-tire rubber processors and suppliers formed in 2010. The Portage Precision Polymers tour was the first of such activities in 2013.
