ROME, Italy—Trelleborg Wheel Systems S.p.A. said it will participate in Zero Impact, an environmental project set up to calculate, reduce and offset the CO2 emissions generated by the people, events, products and businesses throughout the world.
"As an industry leader we are, of course, passionate about creating added value for farmers, particularly through new product innovations," said Lorenzo Ciferri, marketing director agricultural and forestry tires at Trelleborg Wheel Systems. "However, at the same time, we are equally as passionate about safeguarding the environment; our TM Blue concept is proof of this."
The TM Blue concept also ensures worker safety and environmental protection, he said. .
Trelleborg said the Zero Impact project, started by LifeGate S.p.A., uses environmental impact assessments to compensate for CO2 emissions generated across the globe by protecting and creating forests.
