INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers has another new member— Seals Unlimited Inc.
The Hillsboro, Ore.-based company has been producing rubber extrusion, rubber moldings, gaskets and hydraulic gate seals for a wide range of industries from 26 years, the ARPM said. Seals Unlimited also provides die and water jet cutting of a variety of flat gasket type materials.
"I want to hit the ground running in 2013 with the company and feel that we can use some of the association's resources and publications offered in our efforts." said Teri Woodward, general manager of Seals Unlimited. "We're going through some growth and want to position ourselves for this. Seals Unlimited is changing the direction of how we manage the company and we thought that it made sense to become a member of the ARPM. I want to tap into the ARPM's resources for training and growth."
Woodward said he's been visiting the ARPM website and watching the organization since it's creation as the non-tire rubber goods trade group for the U.S. rubber industry.
"I researched what a membership can offer and the publications available and thought that we can and should use those resources," he said. "I look forward to seeing exactly what we can utilize from the membership."
The ARPM has been adding members since its founding in 2010, and now has about 40.
