INDIANAPOLIS—Custom Rubber Products Inc. of Houston has joined the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers.
The company has been producing molded rubber products, thermoset plastics and mandrel wrapped products for the oilfield and industrial markets since 1961.
“We want to have access to and become familiar with the literature that ARPM provides,” said David Zedaker, vice president of quality and engineering, said. “The latest rubber industry publications are our main interest. We will definitely check out the other services that the association has to offer and we look forward to the networking potential.”
Custom Rubber Products works closely with their customers to develop tooling to meet their specific requirements, the ARPM said. “One of the things that we promote on the molded side with our customers is that we always try and work with them on tolerancing,” said David Zedaker, vice president of quality and engineering with Custom Rubber Products. “These customers tend to want to hold machine metal tolerances.”
The ARPM, founded in 2010, has nearly 40 member companies from the non-tire side of the rubber manufacturing industry.
