INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers has unveiled a new, interactive website.
The site—at www.arpminc.com—has been designed to allow rubber processor executives to reach out to each another to solve problems and build relationships for new business opportunities, according to ARPM Executive Director Troy Nix.
The site was developed by a subcommittee of the nearly 40-member organization of non-tire rubber goods makers. It took six months to create.
"We envision that the site will become an expansive portal for rubber products issues and business resources," Nix said. It can be accessed by members and non-members alike.
Nix said the ARPM staff has been conducting webinars walking attendees through tasks such as the importance of logging onto the site to ensure they take advantage of the discount programs and services provided to members, accessing the "Communicate with Members" page, and posting and replying on the website.
Among features that will be added to the site are a search engine that will "put OEMs and those in need of finding rubber products manufacturers the ability to do just that," Nix said.
