NEUISENBURG, Germany (Nov. 2, 2012)—Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. has been selected as the exclusive tire supplier to the Maxi Endurance 48H at Navarra, Spain.
The contest—which will take place March 14-17, 2013, and will be supervised by the Spanish Automobile Federation—is the world´s first 48-hour endurance race, according to Hankook, and will provide new challenges for strategy and endurance racing.
The tire maker´s Ventus race tire line will be used in the Maxi GT, Maxi Cup, Maxi Sport and Maxi Touring categories.

Hankook claims its Ventus race tires will satisfy "all essential elements" of performance such as braking, traction, steering response as well as stability, durability and safety.
