RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2012)–Falken Tire Corp. reported it will be the official tire of Jeep Jamboree USA for 2013.
The Jeep Jamboree USA takes place in states ranging from Maine to California and annually attracts thousands of participants, according to Fontana, Calif.-based Falken.
"You haven´t seen America until you´ve been places only your Jeep 4x4 can take you," said Mark A. Smith, Jeep Jamboree president and founder of the event series.
Smith is a member of the Off-Road Hall of Fame, Falken said, and led the 1978-1979 Expedicion de las Americas, a 20,000-mile, 120-day trek from South America to North America.
The tire marketer said it earned its first off-road championship in the 2012 Ultra4 stock class in a partnership with Savvy Off Road, running WildPeak All-Terrain tires, Fontana, Calif.-based Falken reported.
