MAUMEE, Ohio (Oct. 18, 2012)—Dana Holding Corp. has received four Supplier Quality Excellence Awards from General Motors for its outstanding performance.
Having met a rigorous set of criteria, the company's facilities in St. Clair, Mich.; Chatham, Ontario; and Nue-ulm, Germany, were all recognized for the inaugural year of the award.
“This achievement demonstrates Dana's commitment and ability to deliver quality-driven products that meet not only stringent industry standards but also our customers' distinct needs,” said Dwayne Matthews, president of the Dana Power Technologies Group. “Our dedicated, global team is focused on helping customers such as General Motors achieve their goals for delivering quality vehicles to the market."'
The excellence award identifies suppliers that have helped play a large role in achieving GM's goals. Dana was recognized for its reliability from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012. Dana has been supplying GM since 1905, beginning with universal joints for the Buick.
