WASHINGTON (Oct. 15, 2012)—Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. has recalled 169 V12 Vantage Coupes, model years 2010-2012, because of problems with their tire pressure monitoring systems.
On these vehicles, the low pressure warning lights will not illuminate until the tire pressure in the front tires is more than 25 percent below the vehicle manufacturer's recommended pressure, Aston Martin told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Twenty-five percent is the threshold at which the warning light must illuminate, according to NHTSA's TPMS standard.
Aston Martin will reprogram the vehicles' TPMS software free of charge. Owners may contact Aston Martin at 888-923-9988.
