RICHMOND, Va.— Quantum Silicones L.L.C. has introduced its latest moldmaking product, the QM 254, a two-component, room-temperature, addition-cure silicone material.
The company said the cured rubber is resin resistant and has a 10-to-one mix ratio.
Aquantum touted the QM 254's low viscosity, fast demold time, dimensional and thermal stability, and high durometer.
The material targets architectural, furniture and picture frame replication; technical articles; prototypes and more, according to the company.
