MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich.—Sika Corp.'s Industry and Automotive divisions have promoted Dave Jones to the position of senior vice president, Industry and Automotive USA. Scott Henry was promoted to corporate head, Business Unit Industry.
Both promotions went into effect Sept. 1.
Jones joined Sika in 1995 as an application engineer and has held various positions including sales engineer, key account manager and during the period 2000-2004 served in Europe as the vice president of engineering for Sika Automotive Europe.
In 2005 he was promoted to the position of vice president, Automotive Engineering USA and in 2010 to senior vice president Automotive USA. In his expanded role as senior vice president, he will join the North American executive team.
Henry joined Sika Industry in 1997 as a product engineer, and has held various positions including product engineering manager, director of product engineering, vice president of Transportation and Appliance & Components business units and since 2010 senior vice president of industry. Henry will relocate to Switzerland in his new role.
Sika Corp. is a leading supplier of adhesives and sealants serving automotive aftermarket, automotive OES, industrial, marine, and transportation markets. Product lines include polyurethane adhesives and sealants, hot melt adhesives, epoxies, acrylics, silicones and butyl sealants.
