AKRON (Sept. 7, 2012)—Sept. 14 is the deadline for free registration to the exhibit hall at the upcoming International Tire Exhibition & Conference in Cleveland Sept. 18-20.
After midnight Sept. 14 exhibits-only registration for the show rises to $50, according to show organizers and Rubber & Plastics News and Tire Business.
Those interested in attending the show's education program can also register by midnight Sept. 14 for $35 for a single day or $50 for the entire three-day conference. After Sept. 14, registration for the educational program rises to $75 for the single-day pass and $100 for the three-day ticket.
Registration to the education program includes free admission to the exhibit hall as well.
This year's ITEC conference comprises 50 presentations focusing on tire dealer business issues and profitability, along with several panel discussions and keynote presentations from Enki Tan, executive chairman of the Singapore-based Chinese tire maker GITI Tire Co. Ltd., courtesy of the Tire Society, and David Rohweder, global chief engineer, Tire and Wheel Engineering, Ford Motor Co.
The trade show includes more than 150 exhibitors from both the manufacturing and distribution sides of the business.
There will be 50 presentations geared toward tire manufacturing issues, and in excess of 100 technical and business papers in all.
