DETTINGEN, Germany (Aug. 6, 2012)—ElringKlinger A.G. increased sales and earnings significantly in the three months to June 2012.
The company reported global revenues up 12.4 percent to $355 million. In the second quarter EBIT rose by 29.4 percent, to $47.6 million.
ElringKlinger said order intake continued to expand in the second quarter of 2012. It rose by 13.1 percent to $418.7 million.
As at June 30, order backlog for the ElringKlinger Group totaled $602.5 million, thus exceeding the previous year's figure by 8.4 percent.
