SEOUL, South Korea (July 10, 2012)—At the 16th Energy Winner Award ceremony, BASF received the Energy Winner Award for Walltite airtight polyurethane insulation solutions.
The award is granted to producers who conserve energy by minimizing use and maximizing efficiency.
BASF said Walltite, which is a spray-applied polyurethane foam insulation, won the award in the sustainable (green) building area as a result of its outstanding performance and contribution to increasing energy efficiency in buildings by providing a cost-effective way to reduce energy use and associated carbon dioxide production.
