BANGALORE, India (June 21, 2012)—Freudenberg's Indian business posted a 20.4 percent increase in sales to $168.3 million for 2011, the company reported.
The Indian operations—which employ more than 3,000—also turned in 15-percent rise in sales in the first quarter of 2012, the firm said.
The rubber product maker said its Indian business was a significant factor in the parent company's above-average growth rates for 2011.
