TOKYO (April 10, 2012)—Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. said three of its plants in Japan and China obtained Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association Standards Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management System in January.
They are the Onomichi plant—manufacturing tires for construction and industrial vehicles—in Japan; and, in China, the company's Hangzhou Yokohama Tire Co. Ltd. facility—making tires for passenger cars—and Suzhou Yokohama Tire Co. Ltd. plant—manufacturing tires for trucks and buses.
