WASHINGTON (April 10, 2012)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is voluntarily recalling 1,084 Cooper Discoverer H/T light truck tires, size LT245/75R16, for possible incorrect load ranges, maximum permissible inflation pressures and maximum loads molded on the sidewalls, the company told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The recalled tires were manufactured between Feb. 12 and March 10, 2012, Cooper said. The company said it would begin notifying owners April 11 and replace the tires free of charge, including mounting and balancing.
Owners of the tires may call Cooper's consumer relations department at 800-854-6288.
