BUTLER, WIS. (April 2, 2012)—Medical device molder and extruder MRPC said it has added a second location to its production operations by acquiring ETI Inc. of Largo, Fla.
MRPC specializes in clean room molding, especially silicone molding, multi-material molding and micromolding. ETI focuses on liquid silicone molding. The two companies combined have five clean rooms from Class 10,000 to 100,000, MRPC said.
Both firms' facilities will continue operating and retain engineering, the company said. ETI will be a division of MRPC.
Markets served by the combined companies include medical, infant care, commercial, consumer dispensing and electronics.
MRPC President Greg Riemer said ETI “adds tremendous value to MRPC, starting with the people, who we are excited to add to our expert team.”
