VIENNA (March 29, 2012)—Semperit Group reported its sales rose 18.9 percent to $1.09 billion for its 2011 fiscal year.
The firm said volume increases climbed 6 percentage points, but the rest of the sales growth came from price hikes the firm imposed because of higher raw material costs.
Semperit said its four business —Sempermed, Semperflex, Sempertrans and Semperform—all contributed to the growth.
