MUNICH, Germany (March 2, 2012)—Wacker Chemie A.G. has completed the expansion and relocation of its technical laboratories and offices in a suburb of Seoul, South Korea.
The building houses research and development, applications technology, and basic and advanced training in silicones and polymers applications. It is located in Pangyo Techno Valley.
The integrated training facility additionally will offer an ideal platform for market-specific networking among customers, distribution partners and Wacker specialists, according to the company. The tech center is aimed to help ensure an optimum supply of high-quality silicone and polymer products for the fast-growing markets in the region, Wacker said.
Wacker makes silicone fluids, silanes, rubber and resins, as well as chemicals for polymers for the construction, adhesives and textiles industries.
