FREUDENBERG, Germany (Feb. 17, 2012)—Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH hosted an opening ceremony for a tech center at its HF Mixing Group headquarters in Freudenberg.
Chief executive Andreas Limper said the center is designed to offer practical systems to permit customers test different options for mixing rubber and plastics.
A key part of the equipment on offer is a small tangential mixer with quick-change rotors, the company said. The mixers on offer will all have extra-powerful drive systems, permitting the machines to process near-solid materials such as thermoplastics and ultra-stiff compounds, according to HF.
Limper said the tech center offer energy efficient temperature control units and a roll mill with a new drive system.
