ALTDORF, Switzerland (Jan. 31, 2012)—Daetwyler Group reported its seals and cable businesses both showed improvement in 2011.
The Swiss company said its Sealing Technologies Division showed a 7-percent increase in revenue to $176.4 million. After adjustment for the negative currency effect, organic revenue grew by 10.7 percent.
The company said the sales hike resulted in part because of a new series of standardized products introduced for the automotive industry, and the division's expanded cooperation with Nespresso.
Currency-adjusted revenue for the Cabling Solutions Division grew 5.5 percent to $262.4 million, thanks to dynamic sales growth in China, Daetwyler said, where the company increased its market share.
