LIVONIA, Mich. (Jan. 27, 2012)—PolyFlex Products Inc. is moving its headquarters and manufacturing operations to a 50,000-sq.-ft. facility in Farmington Hills, Mich., and has increased its production capacity.
“Our continued growth during the past decade had forced us to have operations in multiple facilities,” said PolyFlex CEO Mark Kirchmer. “This new facility allows us to consolidate everything under one roof while providing additional room for future expansion.”
The firm said it increased its overall injection molding capacity by 30 percent and doubled its foamed urethane capability by adding an injection-moldiing machine.
The firm engineers and makes rubber, urethane and plastic products for material handling and manufacturing process applications. It's sister company, ThermoFlex, has capabilities for heavy-gauge thermoforming, injection molding and cast urethane molding operations.
