FONTANA, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2011)—Falken Tire Corp. will raise prices on its passenger and light truck tire lines by up to 5 percent, with some inline adjustments, on Jan. 1.
The inline adjustments are prompted by the price volatility in the market, the tire maker said.
All backorders will be canceled on Jan. 31 and re-entered according to the Jan. 1 pricing schedule, the Fontana-based tire marketer said.
Falken last raised prices on its Falken-brand passenger and light truck tires on July 1, by 8 percent, and on March 1, by 5 to 8 percent.
