It elaborates on dedicated testing methodologies implemented to study foam voids.
It also describes the technical challenges faced in optimizing the silicone surfactant structure to eliminate voids without negatively affecting other important foam and formulation properties, such as maintaining the lowest foam thermal conductivity and a clear polyol-hydrocarbon preblend at high hydrocarbon levels.
