STOCKHOLM, Sweden (Nov. 2, 2011)—It's slow going for the proposed automotive anti-vibration joint venture between Trelleborg A.B. and Vibracoustic, but Trelleborg said it still should be completed by the end of the year.
Trelleborg has delayed its scheduled stock analyst meeting from Nov. 30 until 2012. At the event, the company was expected to give details of the proposed 50/50 joint venture for antivibration products for light and heavy vehicles.
The Swedish manufacturer issued a statement that it still expects an agreement on the formation of the new company during the forth quarter, but the continuation of the process is dependent on the decisions and processing times of relevant competition authorities.”
