LAS VEGAS (Oct. 20, 2011)—The Tire Industry Association is expanding its list of educational seminars at the Global Tire Expo—Powered by TIA at the SEMA show in Las Vegas Nov. 1-3, TIA has announced.
The list of sessions now includes a full slate of “[email protected]” environmental seminars, to be held at noon each day of the expo, the association said.
The first [email protected] session, “Sustainable Tire, Battery and Automotive Shops,” will be held Nov. 1 from noon until 1 p.m. Scott Pate of Sierra Piedmont will present the talk, and Dick Gust of Liberty Tire will be the moderator.
“Tire Manufacturers Going Green” will be the subject of the [email protected] session Wednesday, Nov. 2. Julie K. Porter of Bridgestone Americas and Mark Cherveny of Goodyear will be the presenters, and Bob Ulrich of “Modern Tire Dealer” will be the moderator.
“What Dealers Are Doing to 'Green' Their Business” will be the subject of the final [email protected] session on Thursday, Nov. 3. Matt Curry of Curry Auto and Rod Enlow of the Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair will be the presenters, and Dick Gust will be moderator.
TIA will offer a door prize at the end of each [email protected] session to encourage attendance, and also give every attendee a “Lifecycle of the Tire” poster while supplies last, the association said.
