MASSILLON, Ohio (Sept. 8, 2011)—Standards Testing Laboratories Inc. is accepting registrations for its annual fall Tire Technology Seminar, taking place Oct. 18-20 at the company's headquarters in Massillon.
The two-and-a-half-day event is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of technology in use in the tire industry, STL said. Industry expert speakers from the engineering, chemistry and mechanics/vehicle dynamics fields will address a variety of topics, including tire testing, tire design, research, tire engineering and compounding, product development and advanced concepts.
Participants will tour STL's testing facility for a “first-hand description of test equipment and methodology,” and they will have the opportunity to take part in open Q&A sessions throughout the course, the company said.
Registration for the event is $975, which includes admission to the conference, all needed materials, three luncheons, an evening banquet and refreshments throughout the event. A block of rooms has been reserved at a local hotel, and discounts are available for parties of three or more registrants.
