BETHESDA, Md. (Aug. 8, 2011)—The U.S. Adhesive and Sealant Council is planning to partner with the American Standards and Testing Materials to develop a sustainability definition, based on industry dialogue.
The project is due to start this fall, and is a direct outcome of the ASC's first ever sustainability summit, held July 26-27 in Rosemont, Ill., ASC said.
The sustainability summit was held in partnership with ASTM and drew 86 attendees from across the adhesives and sealants supply chain.
ASC will partner with ASTM to determine a calendar of events, focusing on terminology development and webinars that will support this effort.
