LOUDON, Tenn. (Aug. 1, 0211)—The deadline for submitting suggestions for technical presentations for Polyurethane Foam Association Technical Program is Aug. 26.
The PFA will hold its General Business Meeting and Technical Program Nov. 2-3 at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix.
The PFA wants technical papers summarizing recent research and product development, field studies, innovations in formulation or production technology and new equipment related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues.
The association said papers must have a noncommercial focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or molded flexible PU foam production in North America.
A maximum of eight presentations of 30 minutes are scheduled for the meeting.
The PFA said a short summary of the intended content must be submitted with any request to make a presentation.
The papers are also eligible for a $500 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment.
