Vystar, EcoGlove plan merger
DULUTH, Ga. (July 7)—Vystar Corp. has signed a letter of intent to merge with EcoGlove Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd.
The proposal is nonbinding and subject to the completion of due diligence by both Vystar and EcoGlove. Terms of the merger have not been finalized, the firms said, but both companies are aiming to complete the merger by Sept. 30.
Vystar, headquartered in Duluth, is the creator of Vytex natural rubber latex, a patented, all-natural raw material that significantly reduces antigenic proteins found in natural rubber latex.
Sabah, Malaysia-based EcoGlove is a specialty producer of reusable medical Trace gloves. The firm said it provides innovative reprocessing technology—the Glove-Unique Reprocessing Unit, called GURU—to its customers that enables the gloves to be used multiple times.
EcoGlove is a current customer of Vystar and features gloves made with Vytex NRL in its product offerings.
