WEINHEIM, Germany (July 5, 2011)—Freudenberg & Co. K.G. transferred its actuator business to EKK Eagle Industry Co. Ltd. on July 1.
The business formerly was a division of Freudenberg NOK Mechatronics.
Since 2002, FNM has been a joint venture of Freudenberg and Japanese company NOK Corp., the latter of which holds a 30 percent stake in Eagle Industry Co. Ltd. In turn, Freudenberg holds eight percent of the shares in EKK
Apart from actuators to reduce engine emissions, FNM develops and produces mechatronics solutions based on flexible printed circuits. These are used to integrate switches, sensors, LEDs and a wide variety of other mechatronic and electronic components.
