LOS ANGELES—A U.S. company claims to have developed a new approach to condom manufacture, with the introduction of a silicone condom called the Origami.
Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. The products are based on silicone rubber.
“The prototypes are non-rolled, non-latex, non-allergenic, and they were independently tested by the leading microbiology lab,” said Danny Resnic, the Los Angeles-based inventor o the condom.
The product line includes condoms for use by men; a female condom for use by women; and a range designed for insertion into the anus prior to anal intercourse.
