AKRON (June 24, 2011)—In its first day “open for business,” the International Tire Exhibition and Conference sales team signed up almost two dozen companies as exhibitors for the ITEC 2012 trade show.
The conference—produced by Rubber & Plastics News and Tire Business—will be held Sept. 18-20, 2012, at the International Exposition Center in Cleveland.
The online exhibitor booth renewal process for the show opened June 21 and, according to Brent Weaver, sales director for RPN, and Chris Harris, sales director for TB, and exceeded expectations. “In the first 10 minutes we had a dozen online exhibitor renewals for our show that is more than a year away,” Harris said.
“We had more than 10 percent of our 2010 exhibitors renew,” Weaver said, “and what's incredible, the renewal process is only open to half of our exhibitor base. A second group of exhibitors will be able to renew their booths starting July 11. We expect similar numbers then.”
Exhibitors signing up for ITEC 2012 include: Arnco; ATEQ Corp.; Boschert L.L.C.; C.A. Litzler Co. Inc.; CustomerLink Systems Inc.; Davis-Standard L.L.C.; Haltec Corp.; Intralox L.L.C.; McNeil/NRM; Micro-Poise Measurement Systems L.L.C.; Mighty Distributing System of America Inc.; Net Driven; Ohio Rack; Pannier Corp.; Pioneer Industrial Systems; Regloplas Corp.; Standards Testing Labs; Struktol Co. of America; Sutong China Tire Resources; Tire Group International; Tyres International; VMI Americas; and Yxlon.
In 2010, Tyres International was the first exhibitor to sign up for the newly expanded ITEC show. Harris said Tom Babb, the company's president, “continued that tradition of being the first exhibitor to commit to ITEC 2012.”
