HANOVER, Germany (May 27, 2011)—Continental A.G. is reshuffling management at its Passenger and Light Truck Tire division, naming new heads for the Europe/Mideast/Africa replacement business and global research and development.
Effective July 1, Christian Koetz, 41, and head of research and development for the division, and will take on responsibility for the Europe/Mideast/Africa segment, filling a slot that's been handled temporarily by Nikolai Setzer, head of the division.
David O'Donnell, 36, and in charge of key original equipment account management, the Americas, for the Passenger and Light Truck division, takes over Koetz's R&D position. Based at Conti's Auburn Hills, Mich., office, O'Donnell will relocate to the business' R&D center in Hanover-Stoecken, Germany.
The changes are in addition to the recent appointment of Jochen Etzel, 51, as head of the division's replacement business unit, the Americas, succeeding Matthias Schoenberg, who's taking over the helm of ContiTech Fluid GmbH at the same time.
