BRISTOL, Ind. (May 23, 2011)—Polyurethane foam seat maker Molded Foam L.L.C. is relocating its operations in Indiana and plans to buy a company in Holland, Mich.
The firm—which supplies urethane foam cushioning to customers in the defense, medial, office-furniture, transportation and other industries—said it will spend $3.8 million to buy and equipment its new operations in Bristol. The investment will result in 45 new jobs by 2014, Molded Foam said.
The company, while announcing its plan to buy a Michigan firm, didn't disclose the name of the manufacturer or any other details of the purchase.
