LANCASTER, Pa. (April 14, 2011)— Recycled rubber flooring manufacturer Ecore International has begun what it calls its “Redeux” material take-back program, allowing its customers to send back old or remnant recycled rubber and cork products to Ecore for further recycling.
Lancaster-based ECORE will make the reclaimed material into new flooring, underlayments and industrial products, the company said. Because of Ecore's proprietary processes and complete quality control, products made from “Redeux” materials will have the same high quality as all Ecore products, the company said.
“We are proud to be able to reuse our waste, reduce the amount of products going to landfills, and recycle, therefore significantly extending the life of each product we manufacture,” said Arthur B. Dodge III, Ecore chairman and CEO.
